Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC)

RMTC prepared a master plan update that evaluated the ability of Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) to conduct its primary mission and the added mission to support the VA hospital. Major tasks of the master plan update effort included:

• Real property master plan;
• Capital improvement plan;
• Updated topographic maps;
• Evaluation of all on-site utilities (water, sewers, drainage, power and communications);
• Analysis of available utility capacity and future needs;
• Base exterior design guide; and
• Environmental baseline studies and assessment.

RMTC has completed additional projects at TAMC, including:

Central Logistics (1988) : As a subconsultant, RMTC completed site work and prepared plans, specifications and cost estimates for the addition of new roads as well as water, sewer and drainage lines, ventilation, plumbing and fire protection plans. RMTC also updated Basic Information maps.

Master Planning Documents (1983): RMTC prepared an Analytical Environment Assessment Report and an Analysis of Existing Facilities for TAMC. These documents provided important information about existing conditions and analyzed the adequacy of existing facilities to perform the assigned mission while taking full account of environmental and historical concerns.

Topographic and Vertical Surveys (1980 ): RMTC performed topographic and vertical surveys throughout TAMC to check floor elevations and location of hallways, wards, columns and wingwalls for future construction and additions at TAMC.
