RMTC has been involved in the planning and design of major wastewater facilities throughout Hawaii and the Pacific, including the 82 MGD Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant serving metropolitan Honolulu.

RMTC's assistance to developers of master planned communities throughout the state has included thousands of acres of planning and entitlements, surveying, design and services during construction.

RMTC has been steadily involved in Department of Defense projects as Prime A-E Consultant, subconsultant to other A-E firms, and members of design-build teams. Our experience includes leadership of open-ended contracts, single facility sitework designs, as well as complex installation-wide upgrades, master plans, and surveys.

RMTC supports all major modes of transportation in Hawaii, including the roadways, harbors, and airports which are the lifeblood of our local economy and community. We are highly experienced in planning, surveying, design, and construction management of airport and airfield improvement projects at state and military facilities.

The newly constructed Beachwalk sewer tunnel connecting the Beachwalk Wastewater Pump Station to the Ala Moana Park Sewer is the first curved microtunneling project in Hawaii.

RMTC is involved in efforts to address the challenges of aging infrastructure throughout the state, including upgrades to the sewer systems in Honolulu's urban core.(To view this award-winning picture in full, click here.)
